Picked exclusively from apples grown at HRH The Prince of Wales’s estate at Llwynywermod, Saint Cecilia is a Welsh dessert apple, raised in Monmouthshire in 1900 from a Cox’s Orange Pippin. A delicious crisp, dessert apple which has long been appreciated for its sweet, juicy fruit, which has a rich and intense taste. Although this apple is said to be at its most exquisite on Saint Cecilia’s Day (November 22nd), at Welsh Farmhouse, every day is Saint Cecilia’s day.
